Pricing
Projects are provided package rates based on an estimate of hours required. Rates range from $100-150/hour depending on the project scope and the tasks involved. Projects that include photography services require a rate of $150/hour, with a minimum of 4 hours. On-location work and/or work that requires travel outside the designer's home city will incur per diem charges as well, plus expenses. Pre-payment of all travel expenses and per diems plus 50% of all anticipated hours worked at the full hourly rate will be required for all projects requiring travel outside of the home city.

Policies
All projects are billed online via credit card/PayPal, and require a 50% payment of the full project to begin work. The final 50% becomes due upon completion of the design phase, as signified by the client's approval of final designs before the development phase. Any additional charges incurred that have been approved by the client will be due at this time as well.

All works created remain copyrighted by the designer until full payment has been made for all services rendered. At the time payment is made, all copyrights become owned by the client, who grants the designer perpetual rights to use all images for portfolio purposes. If during the course of any project stock imagery is used by the designer, the client will be made aware of that fact and terms of licensing will be made available to the client.

No refunds will be made. All payments made act as retainer for services to be rendered, and client understands that as such the designer reserves time exclusively for the client's project. If the client postpones, abandons, or otherwise delays production of any project already underway, client releases the designer from any liability for reaching pre-agreed project deadlines, and also understands that any payments made may be forfeited, as the designer may be unable to reschedule production time should the client seek to return to production at a later date. Client agrees that any liability the designer may have for any design or development work that is found to be faulty, late, or otherwise unusable is limited to a total of 50% of all payments made to the designer. Client agrees to seek and undergo arbitration with the designer before seeking a refund or making a claim with either a payment processor or any court of law.

As all projects require regular collaboration with and feedback from the client, should the client become unreachable during production of their project for a period of one week or longer without prior notice, the project will be considered abandoned and the designer will be released from any further obligations. Client also agrees to release designer from liability for work that is delivered late should the client be unreachable via phone or email for significant amounts of time during the production process.

With over a dozen years of experience coding and designing websites, BE INGENI.US' Creative Director/Principal Stephen Haislip is relaunching both his business and his design approach.

In the early years Stephen worked as a part-time design freelancer while working for other companies in the entertainment & web sectors, and after developing a body of work in the field of fine art, three years ago he launched Company of H, his first full-time graphic design venture. In the time since then, he's worked with businesses and organizations in many industries nationwide, from construction to medical to apparel to retail to entertainment, even working with national non-profits, best-selling authors, and politicians to create brand identities, print marketing, websites, online storefronts, social media profiles and so much more.

It's now March 2010 and BE INGENI.US is launching as the new brand of Stephen's design and development work, representing a new outlook, a focus on challenging himself, his clients and even his subcontractors to reach toward accomplishing greater things together.
